dashing wind brings chill piercing walls of my bedroom astounding my soul basking in september sun fall arrives at my doorsteps
as dusk suddenly rips the inky sky with gold a late monsoon breeze hurries its march and turns cold making loose leaves sprint in drifts
What is a Tanka?
A Tanka is a Japanese form of poetry. It has five lines and thirty-one syllables in 5/7/5/7/7 format, giving a complete picture of an event or mood. This is my first time writing Tankas.
