Minute Poem

Since she's gone, my heart is pining.
Stars are shining,
Moon is burning,
dawn is coming.

I sit alone on the terrace.
look out, there is
a flock of birds.
Mind's full of words.

Poetry mends the broken heart,
when love departs,
I write a piece,
my heart's at peace.

  1. Close Encounters of the Strange Kind
    (My minute poem.)

    I come from another planet
    My mouth looks planted
    My forehead is sloped
    My eyes are so dope.

My small ship landed nearby here
    Noisy all could hear.
    Bright lights in the dark
    Human hearts jump start.

I wave to the scared Earthlings there.
    They wave back much scared.
    Say, I come in peace.
    Their fear now on ceased.
