June 2022 – September heart-to-hearts

The moon sits in the sky
It's smiling
Somewhere, a bird gives a cry
Sea's sighing
The sun blushes, it's shy
It's evening
I'm back, I wonder why
I kept leaving?
Was I afraid that if I die
It'd be of no meaning
So, I started living a lie
Believing
That when we say goodbye
The grieving
Lasts forever, but I
Was deceiving
Myself. Grief's like a butterfly
It's fleeting.
